Food Services Sales Manager

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 4 – 5 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry as a manager or as a Sales Representative for a FMCG Company (preferably Dairy)
  • Matric
  • Drivers’ License
  • Own Transport

Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Cape Town and surrounding areas, Western Cape
Job Type: Full Time; Fixed Term contract with an option for permanent employment post successful implementation
Package: Market related – based on a fixed monthly income and a commission structure
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:30

Key Performance Areas include; but not limited to:

  • Administration
    • Analysing and reporting on sales data
    • Reporting on sales opportunity and growth
    • Assisting production team with stock forecasting requirements
  • Co-ordinating
    • Scheduling and organising tradeshows as required
    • Organising specials as required.
    • Ensure that client reviews (end users and food service agents) are administered to retrieve relevant information.
  • Finance
    • Scheduling and organising tradeshows as required
  • Activation
    • Expand listings of new lines with food service agents
    • Assisting the client in recognising the financial benefits of product options
    • Developing relationships with Food Service agents & end users (restaurants, hotels etc.)
    • Formulating a better understanding of the end user’s requirements and utilising in sales strategy
